‧Description

E-One Moli Energy passed tests for hybrid functional tests by automobile giant Ford in 2006, and recognized E-One Moli’s exceptional products by placing an order to acquire batteries for electric vehicles. IBR26700 and IHR18650 are the two main power cell product series that match current automotive applications.

“E-bike Li-Ion Battery System” has already received praise from world-wide clients. After acquiring clients such as OHM, MOLICEL plans to vigorously sign more North-American and European client specializing in E-bike production and Light Electric Vehicle during 2007. They plan to export over 50k sets within 2007.

Take IBR-26700 3.5Ah for example, the series is designed for electric bicycles and the power output distribution configuration is tailored for such usage, low impedance. The two main design strengths are– 1.) Highly safe to use, 2.) Cell impedance will not increasewith cycling. When overcharging, the cell temperature will be monitored within acceptable level, and the two preventive mechanisms (Automated Fuse System & Safety Pressure Release) will activate to cut off incoming current and prevent any hazard occurrence. In terms of external structure shortage, E-One Moli Energy also has patented preventive mechanism to not only offer product safety but also reliability.

The other components of E-One’s “E-bike Li-ion battery system” aside from what’s mentioned in the previous paragraph is the combination of “Intelligence energy saving unit and safety fuse protection” and “Advance Power Management System”.Together they allow the most output from the motor with the highest power conservation and safety.

Reusable green energy for EV and HEV applications is the next step E-One Moli Energy is working towards. Through the collaborative effort of many foreign and domestic research institutions, we now have the advance technical know-how that permits us to put forth safer and cleaner energy to contribute to world conservation within five years.
